On my arrival on the island of Gods, after 20 flying hours, I am warmly greeted in United Colors of Bali with a traditional Balinese massage that makes me forget the tiredness and the time difference. To end my day, I choose to enjoy the resort’s swimming pool and bar whereas others, more motivated, go to discover the beaches located at less than 10min.
I wake up early to take the transfert in Padang bai where I board on a speed boat which leads me to Gili with unrivalled speed sensations. After my meal, I discover the crew and the boat on which I will stay for 2 days, a haven of peace. Boating starts on a calm sea during few hours, a soothing moment, relaxing, the dream and the amazement start growing in me. The first scuba-diving is a wonderful and indescribable spectacle, so many colors, fishes with strange shapes, other camouflage experts which I enjoy flush them out. We really feel privileged in these waters.
Back on board, I discover a delicious snack just in front of me, composed of pancakes, donuts, fruits. a real treat !

The first scuba-diving in Gili islands confirmed us the islands reputation, I find myself directly right in the middle of turtles, squids, lobsters, napoleon fishes and all the other tropical fishes ! After this colorful spectacle, I sit down in front of a multitude of dishes one more delicious than the others, but the best thing is the fish, grilled in the barbecue, a treat ! We go scuba-diving again which ends in the late afternoon, back on deck, I enjoy the delicious fruits and juices prepared by the chef. The sun starts slowly to get closer to the horizon. The sky becomes orange and yellow. Light rays penetrate the clouds leaving gold trails behind. Spectacular !
We sail towards Lembongan island which is getting closer. The captain withdraws the sails and throws the ink, the scuba-diving can start… Once the bubbles of my fall are dispersed, I find myself with several manta rays of 5 meters around me, an unforgettable spectacle. During a second scuba-diving, at the beginning of the afternoon, I marvel with all the corals, so many paintings and structures with diverse shapes in which fishes are living by the thousands, fighting for the most beautiful motives and colors. But the cruise comes to her end and we come alongside in Sanur in order to come back in the resort where we share our experiences.
