Departure 9.00 AM for the inland (north) taking nice small roads to reach Lake Bratan. You can visit one of the most photogenic temples, the Ulun Danu, dedicated to the goddess of water. It is located on the calm waters of the lake, on a small piece of land, and the reflect in the water gives the impression that it is floating.

Descent to Bedugul for a visit of the famous fruit market. Further west, the day continues with JATILUWIH. You are likely to be overwhelmed by what you see. These rice terraces are the most emblematic  of Bali -classified as Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Logically, it is rather here you will have your lunch in a small warung of your choice.

On the way back, ask the driver to show you the hot springs (air panas). You will have bath in a sulphurous water mountainside, where you will most likely be the only tourists.
