Departure around 8.30 am for Gunung Kawi, a superb temple with 7 meters high tombs of Balinese kings carved into the rock, that you reach going down hundreds of steps through the rice terraces.
Continue to Tegalalang where you can enjoy a Balinese ginger coffee or tea under a small gazebo, while enjoying a magnificent panorama of rice terraces.
On the way back, you will drive through the famous wholesalers road (over 7km) where you can find all Balinese crafts at wholesale prices.
Possible lunch at an organic restaurant lost in the middle of beautiful rice fields, joining pleasure of taste and eyes.
After lunch, visit the natural reserve of Monkey Forest, walking in the middle of hundreds of monkeys leaving here freely.
Later in the afternoon, the Ubud market : sarongs, spices, handicrafts, souvenirs…
